This trip will be only for you, no other travellers except those in your party will accompany you on your tour. This trip includes pick up on arrival at Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi, Old Delhi tour, all domestic transport to and from New Delhi by train, car and by flight, personal guide and driver, all classes, entry into all monuments and museums, accommodation in authentic deluxe boutique hotels, traditional mansions, fort palaces, breakfasts, all taxes and tolls. The price does not include lunch or dinners except at Jog Niwas Palace in Jodhpur as we have found most guests prefer to order what and where they choose. A selection of the finest traditional restaurants will be given to you by your personal guide.

Day 1

Late night or early morning Delhi Indira Gandhi International Airport arrival (most International flights arrive in Delhi late night and early morning (2:00am to 7:00 am) You will be met by your personal driver/guide and transported to your Delhi boutique Bed and Breakfast by Air conditioned SUV vehicle. Check into your room and then rest and relax until early afternoon where you will proceed to tour the old city of Delhi (3 hours). The Delhi old city has fascinating and engaging bazaars with 17th Century beautiful monuments that include the Jama Masjid (Friday Mosque) and Red Fort. Early dinner in the old city at a century and a half old restaurant that serves Mughal specialty cuisine. Return to your boutique bed and breakfast for night stay.

Day 2

Early morning breakfast followed by a short transfer to the New Delhi train station to board a 1st class AC chair train accommodation to Jaipur where a fine breakfast will be served on board (4 hours). Arrival in Jaipur and be met by your personal guide and driver and transfer to your Jaipur boutique hotel. Lunch on arrival at your Jaipur boutique hotel.In the mid-afternoon a tour of the City Palace of Jaipur or a discovery of the Jaipur bazaars. In the evening dinner and night stay at your boutique Jaipur hotel.

Day 3

An early morning breakfast will be followed by a tour to the glorious 16th Century Amber Fort (the original Jaipur State capital), (3 hours). Lunch in Amber followed by proceeding by road (AC SUV)for a 1 hour to a Late-17th Century exquisite Palace Fort where you will stay the night in a genuine harem.The harem is unchanged from the Late-17th Century except for the additions of electricity and a bathroom. Glorious architecture and ambience await you on arrival at the Palace Fort. In the evening dinner and night stay inside the harem.

Day 4

Breakfast followed by leaving by road to Jodhpur (3 hours). Arrive in the early afternoon for lunch at your Jodhpur accommodation, Jog Niwas, where you will stay inside a suite with en suite bathroom and kitchenette with French-door balcony windows that overlook the Jog Niwas interior gardens. Your suite also has direct access to a large terrace that overlooks the exterior gardens as well as a panoramic view of Jodhpur in the distance. In the Jog Niwas outside gardens there is a private swimming pool. Jog Niwas is not only a lovely building but a cultural centre and interior salon for the endangered luxury, fine and decorative arts of South Asia. In the late afternoon and early evening a display of the finest South Asian art mediums produced by the last remaining erstwhile royal and aristocratically appointed master artisans will be shown to you with explanations on history and processes with a India/South Asian art history lecture. A casual traditional dinner and night stay in your suite at Jog Niwas.

Day 5

Breakfast followed by a tour of the 15th-18th Century Jodhpur Meherangarh (Majestic) Fort for 2 hours. Lunch at a traditional restaurant in the old city followed by a visit to the oldest sweet shop in the city of Jodhpur for desert.In the mid-afternoon a visit to the old city bazaars for exploring. Late afternoon return to Jog Niwas for relaxing, traditional dinner and night stay in your suite.

Day 6

Breakfast followed by leaving for the Jodhpur airport for your flight back to Delhi and your onward connection. If staying longer in India let us know and we will help coordinate your connections.
